Are you ready to learn English? Are you looking for a way to improve your English conversation skills?

Classes are free and all materials are provided. Pre-registration is required before anyone can attend. To register for class, fill out the registration form, email us at pw@hcpl.net, or call the branch at 832-927-7870. Our Literacy Coordinator will help determine the right class for you and check to see if there are any open spaces available.

In this 60-minute session, Freeman Library Staff will address queries on desktops/laptops, smartphones, digital tablets, HCPL eMedia, and more.

Welcome to our smartphone classes!

In this class you will learn:

  • Opening and using the camera.
  • Photo modes: portrait, video, zoom basics, flash and timer.
  • How to view photos/videos in the Gallery/Photos app.
  • Basic editing: Cropping, lighting and filters.

These classes are free and you do not need to register. You also do not need a library card to attend. I will provide handouts from the lesson for you to take home.
