Preschoolers

Join us on Wednesdays at 11:00 am for Toddler Story Time! This 30-minute Story Time is designed for toddlers aged 1 to 3 years old. We meet in the children's area to share books, songs, rhymes, and more! After Story Time, the toy cabinets are opened and the children are invited to stay and play. It's a great way to meet other caregivers and give your toddler a chance to socialize. 

Siblings are always welcome. 

We meet in the children's area where the picture books and campfire rug are located. 

No registration or tickets required. 

Discovery Time with Miss Christine is a fun and engaging story time for the whole family! Each week, we build literacy skills through the five essential practices: playing, singing, talking, reading, and writing.

For: Pre-School & Elementary (ages 3 - 10 years old). Younger siblings may participate under the active supervision of a parent or caregiver, provided they are registered and do not disrupt the program.

Special Performance! Dance, Music & Rhythm 

Get ready to move, groove, and make some music! Join us for a special Storytime featuring one of our favorite performers, Camilla with Mr. Leo’s Puppet Show and Events!

Children ages 3–5 years will enjoy an engaging Dance, Music & Rhythm class filled with movement, music, and plenty of opportunities to have fun while learning. This lively program encourages children to get up and move, explore rhythm, and express themselves through music and dance.

Do you love silly stories and meeting new friends? Explore the alphabet and early literacy with us through tales, fingerplays, songs, action rhymes and crafts/activities!

Our favorite Traveling Naturalist is back with amazing facts about our friends in the Animal Kingdom! Recommended for ages 4 and up.

Join us for Preschool Story Time each Tuesday at 11:30 am where we will listen to stories, sing and dance, and do an occasional craft to explore creativity and also help build fine motor skills each week! Our program will be held in the children’s area of the Fairbanks Branch Library. This program is for children ages 3-6. Siblings are always welcome!

Families with children age birth to 5, come try this free demonstration of Loblolly Music's Mommy and Me music class. We’ll sing, dance, play with instruments, and make new friends!

This program is for children ages 0-5 and their parent/caregiver. Registration is required and begins one week in advance.
