Learn from docents from the Houston Museum of Natural Science about how living organisms are transformed into fossils and discover what fossils reveal about prehistoric life. Participation is limited to 40 people, so be sure and sign up at the front desk to reserve your spot! Once you have signed up, please check in within 10 minutes of the program start time. Join us for Preschool Story Time, an early literacy program featuring stories, songs, and a fun craft! This program is for children ages 3-6 years old and their caregivers.
In order to ensure the safety of our youngest patrons, this is a ticketed program. Free tickets available in the library on the morning of the program. First come, first served.

Have fun uncovering artifacts like an archaeologist by carefully excavating chocolate chips from a cookie while using an excavation grid. While performing this activity, you will also learn about the tools and terms used by archaeologists on a dig.
