Join us and discover IRL at the library! For this STEAM edition of The Discovery Den, we'll be getting into spooky fun!
This program is for children ages 7-12. All program materials are free and will create mess.
Space is limited — pick up a free ticket at the front desk starting 30 minutes before the program begins.
Join us for an evening family story time. You may wear your pajamas and join us for some fun stories and action rhymes before bedtime! This program is recommended for children and their families.
Join us on Tuesdays at 10:30 am for Baby Story Time! This 30-minute Story Time program is designed for babies from birth to 18 months old. We share books, songs, rhymes, music, bubbles, and toys! We also learn some early literacy tips and activities. It’s a great way to meet other caregivers and to give your baby a chance to socialize.
Siblings are always welcome.
This program is held in our library meeting room.

In partnership with Barbara Bush Library’s First Responder and Trunk or Treat event, join the Early Learning Quality Network on October 30th at 10am for a community exchange for families with young children. Children may choose one book from our ELQN book fair. Families will have the opportunity to donate gently used children’s books, canned goods, and baby supplies in exchange for up to an additional 5 new books per family from our book fair. Items donated will benefit Barbara Bush Library’s food pantry, the Library Frien

We will also be hosting a Friends Members-Only preview on Friday, November 6, from 4 PM - 5:30 PM.

Join us as we explore the various animal groups on planet Earth! We will learn about their environments, adaptations and evolution and create a one of a kind work of art that features that animal group. In November we'll explore the world of Birds!
This program is for children ages 7-12 and their parent/caregiver. Registration is required and begins one week in advance. Only the child needs to register.

Join us at the Katy Library for Seedling Squad, a toddler story time, from 10:15 am-11 am. This event will take place on the carpet in the children's section of the library. Come dance, sing, and grow while we read books together!
