Join us every first Thursday of the month from 4:30-5:30pm for Lego Club here at the Fairbanks Branch Library! We will have Legos, mega blocks and magna tiles to build with. Come have fun! This program is for ages 6-11 but siblings are always welcome. We will meet inside the meeting room.

Join us on Wednesdays at 11:00 am for Toddler Story Time! This 30-minute Story Time is designed for toddlers aged 1 to 3 years old. We meet in the children's area to share books, songs, rhymes, and more! After Story Time, the toy cabinets are opened and the children are invited to stay and play. It's a great way to meet other caregivers and give your toddler a chance to socialize.
Siblings are always welcome.

Harris County Public Library's Book Buddies is a FREE literacy program that pairs trained teen volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in K-3rd grade (Little Buddies) for 10 weeks to share the joy of reading. More information can be found on our website.
The next session for the South Houston Branch Library will run from September 8 - November 10, 2026. The Buddies will meet on Tuesdays from 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM.
Come and join us in person for 30 to 45 minutes of Lego club fun! Our "Rock the Block" Lego club is free to attend. This STREAM program is geared for elementary school age children and their caregivers. See what new designs you can draft and have fun collaborating with other kids in this creative environment.
