In My Home Sweet Home is a local initiative helping adults 55+, Veterans, and caregivers make safer, more informed decisions at home.
Through education and guidance, we cover home safety, healthcare navigation, financial awareness, and practical tools—so people can stay independent longer.
Aging in place means staying in your home safely and independently—by adapting your environment to match how you live and move.
This is a two session program in which teens will make their own stop-motion short-film from start to finish! All materials, tools, and snacks will be provided.
This program is for teens ages13-18.
Community Health & Wellness Services provided by Harris County Public Health at the Fairbanks Branch Library. Come visit the Mobile Dental Clinic for:
First visits include a dental screening.
Follow-up visits may include a dental cleaning or basic treatment.
Adults and Children are welcome
Walk-ins are Welcome
This service is available from 8 am -3 pm each Monday with a lunch from 12-1.

Texas Sized Pride for America's 250th - Preserving our Heritage: Step into history and discover the people, places, and events that shaped our nation. Through engaging storytelling and vivid illustrations, the exhibit’s display panels and interactive kiosks bring to life the stories behind our country’s founding.
The exhibit will be on display at the Katy Library for the entire month of July, during regular library business hours.
This exhibit is sponsored by the Sam Houston Chapter, Texas Society Daughters of the American Revolution.
Join us at the Katy Library for Seedling Squad, a toddler story time, from 10:15 am-11 am. This event will take place on the carpet in the children's section of the library. Come dance, sing, and grow while we read books together!
