This class is designed for students who are interested in learning and /or practicing speaking, listening, writing, and reading skills in English. Classes are free and all materials are provided.
Join Future U at the Stratford Branch Library on the 1st Thursday of each month from October through December for workshops aimed specifically to help navigate both your College and Career Path.
Each Month, there will be a new presentation designed to provide an informative and beneficial experience, and then incorporate a one-on-one workshop to work on these newly acquired skills!

We do happen to have the supplies to help you make your own! Join us in the upstairs Innovation Lab for an hour of piecing an ear of corn together just in time to decorate your Thanksgiving tables!

Join the West University Book Club on the first Wednesday of every month at 11am in the Community Center to talk about each month’s great read!
This month, we are reading Maria Smilios' Black Angels.
Enjoy some time to bond with your baby and meet new friends. This program is for babies and will feature lap-sit stories, songs, activities and time to socialize with others. Story time is an excellent way to bond with your child, boost their vocabulary, and hopefully raise a lifelong reader. Studies have shown that regularly reading to your child can increase their attention span, boost their emotional intelligence, and flex their imagination. A free ticket is required and can be picked up at the information desk 30 minutes prior to the program.
Looking for a fun and relaxed space to connect with other homeschoolers? Homeschool HQ is a drop-in program just for kids ages 9–14! Whether you're working on a school project, want to get creative with crafts, or just hang out and chat with friends, we’ve got the supplies and the space. Come by for a laid-back afternoon with plenty of room for imagination, conversation, and community.

Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch for our tween led Lego Brick Building Club!
Each club will tackle a new build. The build will be broken down into it's main components so that every level of builder can participate.
This is a program being run by a tween, so only attendees between the ages of 8 and 12 are welcome to attend.

Join us for a fun interactive weekly story time perfect for walkers. Tiny Tykes uses stories, songs and finger plays to engage toddlers and their parents/caregivers. Tickets are required and will be handed out at the information desk 15 minutes prior.
This program is held in our meeting room or on nice days we may move to the Reading Garden, weather permitting.
Ticket distribution begins 15 minutes prior to any event/program.
Tickets will not be available 10 minutes after any program has started.
Struggling in class? Join the personalized peer tutoring group, Learning Lounge, at the Barbara Bush Branch Library!
Each session features a mix of relaxing and engaging activities like puzzles, a creative hands-on project, and a group game to get everyone thinking and laughing. If you'd like extra help with schoolwork, you can sign up for one-on-one tutoring with a friendly peer tutor and head to a separate table for focused support.
