This class is designed for students who are interested in learning and /or practicing speaking, listening, writing, and reading skills in English. Classes are free and all materials are provided.
🎨✨ Calling all young creators! Dive into the enchanting world of science and art with hands-on activities that spark imagination and curiosity. Perfect for kids in 1st through 5th grade. No registration needed, but hurry—supplies are limited! 🚀🔬
Classical Sing Move Play! is coming to the Northwest Branch Library. Discover how classical music and kids go hand in hand. Today's class will be a 45-minute sing, move, play session featuring music from The Nutcracker. This class is perfect for children ages 2-5.
Tickets will be provided 30 minutes before the program at the information desk. Space is limited.
Are you ready to learn more English? Classes are every Tuesday from 10am-12pm starting September 23rd and ending December 9th (no classes on Nov 4 due to Election Day).
This class is for previously registered applicants on our current waitlist. Our next registration will be Nov 10 and Nov 13 at 11:30 am and Nov 17 and 20 at 1 pm.

Join with other preschoolers and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Preschool Story Time uses age appropriate stories, songs and finger plays, and a take-home craft to engage preschoolers and their parents/caregivers. This story time is geared towards kids ages 3-5 years.
Tickets are required and will be handed out at the Children's Desk starting 30 minutes prior. Children must have a ticket to attend Preschool Story Time.

This program dives into to the unbelievable to investigate strange history, bizarre animal facts, fascinating mysteries, and mind-blowing world records. It’s packed with interactive challenges, sparking curiosity, that will inspire tweens to think outside the box. With each visit, they'll be introduced to things that seem near impossible, all while having fun and learning something new!

If you would like to get feedback from the group on something you have written, please send it to Miss Darla at least a day before the meeting via email at darla.pruitt@hcpl.net. Pieces must be at the most 2500 words. It doesn't have to be complete, it can be a work in progress. If you don't have anything to share, don't worry.Â
