Decompress from a long day at school every Tuesday by playing video games at the library! Challenge your friends to a competition or just come hang out!
No registration is required. This event is open to ages 13 to 18.
Watercolor for “Young at heART” adults meets every Tuesday morning to enjoy watercolor painting while commiserating with fellow artists! This friendly and social group is open to all adults and to all levels of art experience, including those who have never painted with watercolor at all. Sometimes the group works on individual projects and sometimes there is an art education period. Sometimes you will learn something new and sometimes you can teach something to others. Join in for a morning of beautiful art and fun conversation!
Join with other toddlers and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Toddler Time uses age appropriate stories, songs and finger plays to engage toddlers and their parents/caregivers. This story time is geared towards toddlers ages 18 months through 3 years.
Tickets are required and will be handed out at the Children's Desk starting 30 minutes prior. Children must have a ticket to attend Toddler Time.

If you like to drink coffee and talk fast, join us for a fun coffee-themed book discussion, trivia, and craft. We’ll be discussing At the Coffee Shop of Curiosities by Heather S. Webber, while creating our own coffee painting décor, and enjoying coffee and treats. Compete in a lightning round of Coffee Trivia to win a prize; all participants can enter to win the door prize. We’re all in for everything coffee!
Join us at the library for Animal Charades, a fun-filled event where kids act, laugh, and play! Animal Charades is a fun and interactive game where kids act out different animals without using any words, while others guess what animal they are pretending to be. It’s a great way to spark curiosity and help children learn about how animals move, sound, and behave.
Join us for Preschool Story Time each Tuesday at 11:30 am where we will listen to stories, sing and dance, and do an occasional craft to explore creativity and also help build fine motor skills each week! Our program will be held in the children’s area of the Fairbanks Branch Library. This program is for children ages 3-6. Siblings are always welcome!
