Recognizing Abuse, Supporting Survivors, and Preventing Violence
To kick off Domestic Violence Awareness Month, join and Bay Area Turning Point at Clear Lake City-County Freeman Library on Thursday, October 1, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. for an engaging and informative luncheon focused on understanding domestic violence and the role each of us can play in creating safer communities
.Participants will learn about the realities of domestic violence, how to recognize warning signs, and practical ways to support survivors with compassion and care. The discussion will also explore how communities, friends, family members, and professionals can help prevent violence and promote healthy, respectful relationships.
