This orientation session will introduce participants to the digital conversion equipment usage at the LSC - Tomball Community Library.
After registering, you should receive an emailed link to the online class orientation materials. Viewing the material is required to attend this workshop. We ask that you reschedule to a future workshop date if you are unable to review the material before attending.
You may PICK ONE of the following items for practice conversion:
2-5 large portraits or delicate old photographs
2-3 old letters or certificates
25 'sturdy recent' photos
5 negatives or slides
1 VHS tape (may not be completely digitized at the workshop, for practice only)
Practice materials will be available for those who may not want to bring personal items to the workshop.
Participants will need to provide an external storage device or flash drive to save digital images.
After attending this workshop to become familiar with the equipment, participants will be able to schedule future time to complete digitization projects.
