Seniors 55+ are invited to join the Maud Marks Library’s Timeless Travelers program for a trip to the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum. Through artifacts and interactive videos, this special museum experience encompasses much of U.S. history since 1941. See a World War II Avenger Torpedo Bomber, a 1947 Studebaker, a slab of the Berlin Wall, and replicas of President Bush's Camp David, Situation Room, and the Oval Office. The bus will be departing on Thursday, February 17, from 8:30 AM.
Registration period is from February 2 - February 7, 2026. You can call or stop by the library anytime during the registration period. You may choose one companion to accompany you on the trip. Once the registration period has ended, if we have more people registered than we can accommodate on the bus, then we will do a random drawing of names. People not chosen in the drawing will be on a waitlist.
Timeless Travelers is a program series promoting educational and cultural enrichment for senior adults. Once a month, we will take free bus trips across southeast Texas to experience the culture and history of this great state. The only requirement is that you are old enough to attend (55+). Thanks to the Friends of the Maud Marks Library for sponsoring this series.
