Filled with baseball-themed magic tricks and storytelling, the show explores Satchel Paige’s extraordinary journey — from his all-star touring performances and record-setting career in the Negro Leagues to his historic induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame as the oldest rookie and oldest player in Major League Baseball.
Bring your early readers down to read their favorite books to specially trained dogs here at the Fairbanks Library! We meet in the children's area.

Our special storytime "Jazz-A-Long With Your Heart", grab a special recorder from High Meadows and play along while we read tales in observance of Black History Month.
