Join us for our seasonal Book and Movie Sale!! All proceeds go back to the library and all items are sold for less than $3 each. Help us support our programs and take home some books! Come in during any of our open hours to peruse our store and take home a little library treasure <3

Join us at the Katy Library for Flower Hour, a preschool story time, from 11:15Â am-12 pm. This event will take place on the carpet in the children's section of the library. Come dance, sing, and grow while we read books together!
Join us every other Tuesday at 4:45 to create and build with LEGOs!
We will have the option of LEGO challenges or free build during our building session. At the end of our session you can share and display your creations at the JC Library for the month.Â
*This program is for ages 6-12 but siblings are always welcome.
Join us at the Katy Library for Seedling Squad, a toddler story time, from 10:15Â am-11 am. This event will take place on the carpet in the children's section of the library. Come dance, sing, and grow while we read books together!
Storytime for children using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)Â
Build your child’s communication through shared reading! Families will learn to model language on AAC devices, foster a love of books, and connect through this interactive story time.
Who Can Attend?
Join us at 4:30 PM to make some holiday cards for a loved one! Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or nothing at all, you can join us to make some cards for a friend or family member! No artistic experience needed and all ages may come and join us!Â
Join us for our weekly homeschool meet up, where kids can engage in STEAM activities such as building challenges, fiber art crafts, science experiments, process art, games, and more, all while having fun and socializing. Parents/caregivers are welcome to join each other in the library for an informational session and networking.
*Recommended for children ages 5-11, under 5 must have an accompanying adult.
Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch Library for our special pajama Storytime with Ms. Amberly! Stuffies welcome and pajamas encouraged!
This program is for families of all shapes and sizes! No ages excluded. Tickets are available at the Children's desk 15 minutes before the start of this event. Capacity is limited, so please pick up a ticket before attending this event.
