This five-week program is designed to be a fun resource for parents & guardians to connect and play with their children, other families, all while connecting with professionals on early childhood themes. Professionals from across the Jacinto City area will join us each week to provide insight and resources to help inform and support your growing family.

Our Chapter Champions (teens) are ready to guide your Story Seekers (children; grades K-3rd) through the wonders of the written word in stories, information, and books.
The Literacy League is a literacy program to provide teen mentorship and guidance to K-3rd graders pursuant to establishing and promoting a culture of literacy and books at the library and beyond into their home Reading Refuge.
Little Sprouts Baby Story Time is a ticketed story time that is every Tuesday at 11 am at the Katy Library. Please make sure to arrive early to receive a ticket. This event is for non-walking babies only. We ask that older children are left out for safety.

Join us at the library for a free 6-week group parenting workshop presented by DePelchin Children's Center and ParentingHelp. Learn about the value of play, child development, coping with stress, positive parenting, supportive parenting behaviors and forming support networks. Also, meet new friends and let your kids have a great play date at the library. If interested come to the first session or register at the library. This workshop is for parents and their children ages birth-5.
