Experience the magic of the holidays with DACAMERA Young Artists! The shimmering sounds of flute, viola, and harp will ring in the season as the trio performs a festive collection of music drawn from various cultural traditions. Audiences of all ages are invited as we celebrate the holiday season through the connective and transformative power of music.
Come enjoy some cookies and cocoa with us as we watch some Classic Family Holiday Movies. Wear pajamas, princess dresses, or other winter-themed attire if you like
Design and create your very own holiday cards for your loved ones using construction paper, stickers, markers, and more!
Make your own bobbleheads out of just paper, glue, and a little bit of elbow grease! We have example snowman and Rudolph bobbleheads, but you can make whatever character you like!
Santa will be making a special visit to Parker Williams Public Library on Monday, December 15th at 6:00pm-7:00pm for FREE photos with kids and families. He may even bring some candy as well.
The Snow Queen is a Play put on by Brave Little Company and Stages for Free!
On the darkest night of the year, children must beware the Snow Queen – and when a boy vanishes from his village, his best friend is the only one who can rescue him. Our heroine needs YOUR help deciding what happens next.
Children’s Learning Institute, in partnership with the Children’s Museum Houston, has created workshops to encourage STEM development. During the workshop, families are presented with strategies that develop early STEM skills. Children and families engage in an interactive learning experience through a book read-aloud, followed by hands-on activity stations.

Come and see Hedgie, our hedgehog, the library pet here at the Barbara Bush Branch Library!
He will be awake and ready to meet you! Learn some interesting hedgehog facts and watch as Hedgie explores his surroundings. He may even let you pet him!
This is a ticketed event. Tickets are free and available in the children's department 15mins prior to the start of the program.
