Join us as we take old books and turn them into beautiful table decorations with flowers, the power of words, and other accoutrements.
Join us for our 3D Printer Orientation!
This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services in the library. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a 3D printer at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a 3D printer.
Have you ever wanted to join a book club but they never pick the books you want to read? Have you thought, man, I just really don't want to talk to people but the camaraderie of being in a book club sounds great? Then look no further! Join us for chill vibes, non-messy snacks, and a whole uninterrupted hour of reading! There will be some light background noise of waves or other soothing sounds, and lower lighting (but not too light, we don't want to hurt our eyes!), and the rest is up to you.
Must be 18 years or older to participate. No registration required.

En esta clase, los participantes aprenderán los fundamentos del trabajo con archivos informáticos. La lección abarca cómo crear, abrir, guardar y renombrar archivos, así como cómo organizarlos en carpetas para facilitar el acceso. También practicarán cómo mover, copiar y eliminar archivos, además de aprender los conceptos básicos del uso de unidades USB y la Papelera de Reciclaje.
Registración no es necesario, solo llegue a tiempo debido al limite de computadoras que tenemos.
