- This is a free class is for learners who know basic English and want to improve.
- You will practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Class meets once a week on Mondays for 2 hours.
- The materials are provided by the library at no cost.

For the first Summer Reading Program Adult Craft of the year we will be making stamps out of potatoes.
No registration required.
We will be working with sharp implements to make our stamps, all attendees to the Conference Room must be 18 years or older.

Create your own mini-underground-magazine in this hands-on zine workshop with Zine Fest Houston on Tuesday, June 16th at 4:00 PM. Ages 9 and up will learn the basics of zine making, including a brief history, collage, drawing, and creative writing. Using paper, magazines, markers, and other craft supplies, participants will design a small self-published booklet that expresses their ideas, stories, art, or interests.

Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a 3D printer at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice.
