Join us in the Innovation Lab Classroom in order to learn about the art of Kimekomi, a traditional Japanese craft where small pieces of fabric are tucked into carved grooves on a wooden, resin, or foam form instead of being sewn together.
Using a styrofoam sphere and strips of fabric, Crystal will lead you through the steps in order to make your own fabric ornament!
Schedule a one-on-one and receive assistance with common computer tasks, Microsoft Word and Excel, and internet navigation. Whether you’re learning to use your computer, smartphone, or tablet, our knowledgeable staff here to guide you every step of the way. 1-hour appointments are available on Wednesdays at 2 PM and 3 PM. Registration opens one week in advance.
Looking for a fun way to spend your afternoon? Come into the main library area for a relaxing afternoon of creativity and conversation! Enjoy coloring pages (provided) or bring a tabletop hobby, or crochet project from home that you’ve been meaning to finish. Whether you’re feeling crafty or just want to unwind and enjoy some friendly company, there’s a place for you! Join us on Tuesday, December 8th at 2:00 PM.
Practice speaking English in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with other learners of the language. Class participants need to register and take an in-person assessment test before joining the class. Levels 3 and above may attend the Conversation classes. Class and materials are free.

Join us Thursday morning for a chair yoga practice for all levels. During this class, we will practice gentle movement and accessible meditation techniques that will create more strength, ease, and balance in the body and mind. The class will be tailored to the ability levels of those who attend. No prior experience is necessary!
