Are you looking for a way to continue to improve your English skills? ESL Classes are underway at the Aldine Branch Library.

The Aldine Branch Library will be offering:

  • ESL - 2 (in-person)
  • We will meet once a week on Tuesdays March 31st, 2026 - May 19th from 1pm - 2:30pm

A pre-assessment test is required. Our Literacy Coordinator will help determine the right class for you.

These courses are free of charge.

A.M.I.G.O.S.(Amigos Meeting Intended Goals of South Houston) Friends of the South Houston Library is a nonprofit 501 c3 volunteer group that meets once a month. Do you knit/crochet/craft? Please join us for our weekly meeting of the Knotty and Nice Club. We meet for 2 hours and socialize while working on our own projects or community charity projects. Please note that this is not a class but people are always available to help you if you need a LITTLE help. If you have never knitted or crocheted, the library offers many books and a few DVDs to learn. You can find many helpful videos on YouTube as well.
