A 30 minute storytime and sing-a-long session featuring If You Sing a Song to a Dragon written by Alisa Magallón that provides an introduction to classic fables or original stories. Explores rhyming, theatrical interpretations of text, and singing.
Summer Reading Program
Join with other preschoolers and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Preschool Story Time uses stories, songs and finger plays, and a craft or activity to engage preschoolers and their parents/caregivers.
This story time is geared towards kids ages 3 - 6 years.
Children and adults must have a ticket to attend Preschool Story Time.

"Unearth a Story"
For the final Summer Reading Program Adult Craft of the year we will be painting ceramic vases.
Space and materials are limited. Registration required and all attendees must be 18 years or older.
All supplies are provided by the friends of Freeman.

The Children's Museum of Houston has prepared workshops for you!
This Para Los Niños workshop includes learning activities to use at home related to the theme Raising a reader.
This program is appropriate for families with children ages 7 and younger.
Participate in this program for a Children's Museum pass for up to six people.

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is an opportunity for teenagers to voice their ideas and opinions regarding library programs. Participation can be used for community service hours.
You don't need a library card to participate in this meeting. You also do not need to register, just show up!
Ages 14-18.
Join Zarate like Karate for an exciting karate class for ages 4–14! Kids will learn basic martial arts techniques, build confidence, and have fun staying active.
Please dress comfortably and wear clothes suitable for movement. This program is for ages 4-14.
