Summer Reading Program

Enjoy a playful and engaging storytime with Ms. Brittany featuring songs, stories, and movement activities. Toddlers will explore the world of dinosaurs while building early literacy skills.
A simple dinosaur-themed craft is included.

Students are immersed in authentic learning opportunities tied to NASA space missions. The “crew” will work together to solve problems with hands-on engineering, coding, journaling, and other dynamic and engaging experiences.

Join us for an American Girl Tea Party. 

Enjoy tea, crafts, friendship bracelets, and fun with friends. Bring your favorite doll, dress up if you'd like, and enjoy an afternoon of creativity and laughter.

Join us for a showing of Ice Age (PG) to close out our library's Summer Reading Program. Bring the family to enjoy some delicious snacks and watch a movie! This movie is rated PG. Limited spots available. Registration required.

Come and create a one-of-a-kind dinosaur themed piece of art using a variety of materials! All supplies provided. 

This program is for kids ages 5-12. Registration is required and begins online one week prior.

Presented by Artist Boat, Eco-Art Camp will unearth the secrets hidden at the bottom of the ocean.  During this weeklong camp at the library, students will experience hands-on activities and art creation to understand “Benthic Communities” or what is at the bottom of the ocean. Participants will create watercolor seascapes, glow in the dark acrylic portraits of deep ocean dwelling organisms and create coral models out of clay. 

Join local author Cheryllee Mery for a heartwarming story time featuring Luna the Baku Cat, a true story told in rhyme. Follow Luna's journey from the streets of Baku to a loving home in the gentle, engaging tale about kindness, bravery, and second chances. Perfect for young children, families, and animal lovers of all ages! There will be a book signing after the reading. Books will be available for purchase.
