Summer Reading Program

Come play a short course of mini golf at the library! Equipment provided. Participants may play multiple rounds, attendance permitting.

This program is intended for ages 9 through 12 and may not be suitable for younger children.

Fossils take too long to make so it's a good thing we've got a shortcut! Learn how to make a salt dough and use our pieces to make fossil-like impressions in yours, or bring dino-themed items of your own! 

For tweens aged 8-12.

Join us for a showing of the The Good Dinosaur (PG) to help kick off our Summer Reading Program. Bring the family to enjoy some delicious snacks and watch a movie! This movie is rated PG. Limited spots available. Registration required.

*Minors aged 15 and under must be supervised by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized responsible adult during the program.

Looking for a creative way to unwind? Join us for a relaxing afternoon of painting rocks!

Whether you're an experienced artist or a beginner, this is the perfect chance to tap into your creativity, make some new friends, and bring home your very own rock masterpiece!

All supplies generously furnished by the Friends of the Library Kingwood (FOLK).

Due to demand, if you have not arrived by 5 minutes after the start of the program, your spot will be released.

Please, only register for one rock painting class.
