In this program, we will focus on the topic of sugar, beverages, and snacks. Families will learn to improve their skills in planning and preparing delicious, nutritious, affordable meals through a presentation and cooking demo. Presented by Harris County Public Health. Ms. Janet is bringing an ancient twist to her Ripley's inspired program: Can You Believe It!? King Tut edition.
She will have bizarre facts about the infamous young Pharaoh. There will also an archaeologist to talk about what they do and give examples of her own work on expeditions. Attendees will then break out to stations where they can do crafts, see "artifacts", color, participate in a dig site, and see how they would perform mummification.
Movie discussions! Topics will be based on the previous day's movies.
