Little Sprouts Baby Story Time is a ticketed story time that is every Tuesday at 11 am at the Katy Library. Please make sure to arrive early to receive a ticket. This event is for non-walking babies only. We ask that older children are left out for safety.

Each week features a fresh, exciting theme—from high-tech Robots to mythical Dragons. We go beyond the book with interactive games and hands-on instrument play to keep older kids engaged and moving. Join us for Preschool Story Time, an early literacy program featuring stories, songs, and a fun craft! This program is for children ages 3-6 years old and their caregivers.
In order to ensure the safety of our youngest patrons, this is a ticketed program. Free tickets available in the library on the morning of the program. First come, first served.
Play and Learn with Me: Family Place Workshop is an early literacy program that highlights learning through play. During this five-week workshop, parents/caregivers and their toddlers ages 1-3 years, will have the opportunity to participate in play-based learning. Each week of the workshop will also feature a resource professional to answer questions on topics including literacy, child development, music and movement, nutrition, and speech and language development.
