In this hands-on 5-week drumming workshop presented by DACAMERA's Young Artists, students entering grades 4-12 will explore percussion techniques, learn about global music traditions, and discover the power of rhythm for creativity, self-expression, and teamwork. No prior musical experience required, just bring your energy and curiosity!

*For children entering grades 4th thru 12th, Registration required.

The Baldwin Boettcher Branch Library will host beginning Spanish classes for adults ages 18+. The facilitator will teach everyday words and phrases in the Spanish language, and each student will practice saying these words. We will have four consecutive classes, and we require registration for all four classes. The registration limit is twenty.  We will meet in the Baldwin Boettcher Conference Room, and the physical address is 22248 Aldine Westfield Road, Humble Texas 77338.

Young artists and creatives between the ages of 7-13 are invited to join us at the library! With the help of Ms Stephanie and Ms Nicole, young artists will explore new art forms and new ways to express themselves. Each week is a different art project!

Do you like to write? Would you like to share your work with other writers for feedback and inspiration?

Word Crafters is a writing group that meets every Wednesday at 3:30 pm in the conference room of Baldwin Boettcher Library. No registration is necessary.

Note: on Wed, May 20th we will be meeting on the library floor due to a special program in the conference room.

We do prompts share, discuss, and encourage.

Come join Baldwin Boettcher’s Tween Book Club! Each month, we dive into a new book, share our thoughts with new friends, and wrap it up with fun, hands-on activities. For our June meeting, we’re reading Another Kind by by Trevor Bream and Cait May.

Through hands-on activities, games, and a live musical finale featuring instruments from various cultures, participants explore creativity, inclusion, and the joy of making music together.
