The Baldwin Boettcher Branch Library hosts English classes for adults ages 18+ who are interested in learning to speak the English language or improve their English-speaking skills. We teach basic English grammar subjects and words that relate to basic life skills. The students have the opportunity to practice speaking the English language with other students.

Join us for a free, 12-week class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. An English assessment must be taken for class admittance. Taking this class does not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.

Join us for our weekly homeschool meet up, where kids can engage in STEAM activities such as building challenges, fiber art crafts, science experiments, process art, games, and more, all while having fun and socializing. Parents/caregivers are welcome to join each other in the library for an informational session and networking.

Justena Kelly, employee at Great Harris County 911 Emergency Network, will facilitate a presentation a public education program on the purpose and proper use of 911 within Harris County and Fort Bend County. This presentation will be interactive, so the participants will have useful hands-on training. Registration is required.
