Join us for a fun interactive weekly story time perfect for walkers. Tiny Tykes uses stories, songs and finger plays to engage toddlers and their parents/caregivers. Tickets are required and will be handed out at the information desk 15 minutes prior.
This program is held in our meeting room or on nice days we may move to the Reading Garden, weather permitting.

Harris County Public Library's Book Buddies is a FREE literacy program that pairs trained teen volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in K-3rd grade (Little Buddies) for 10 weeks to share the joy of reading. More information can be found on our website.
The next session for the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library will run from September 8th - November 17th, 2025. The Buddies will meet on Mondays from 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM.

Join us for this once a month program that teaches children how to manage their emotions using a playful approach.
During the program, children will play games, practice animal themed yoga poses and end class with a mini-meditation to help them reduce anxiety and increase feelings of wellness.
This program is for kids ages 3-6.
Space is limited. Register to reserve a spot for the program. (If registering for multiple children, will need to complete registration for each child.)
Do you knit, crochet or sew? Come and craft different items to help the cause of your choice. Blankets for babies? Items to sell to support the friends of the library? The sky's the limit! Come to learn more about different things crafting can help to support.
This class is designed for students who are interested in learning and /or practicing speaking, listening, writing, and reading skills in English. Classes are free and all materials are provided.
To register for the class, you must take an in-person placement exam.

Teens ages 13-18 can join us on Thursday, September 25th at 4:30pm to play Mario Kart. Bring your friends! Video game equipment provided.
There will be a separate session for tweens ages 9-12.
