New Big Buddies are invited to attend a training session on September 4th from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the North Channel Branch of the public library. This training prepares volunteers to participate in the Book Buddies program, which pairs teen volunteers with children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade for 10 weeks of shared reading. Returning Big Buddies are not required to attend. Sign up at the front desk!
Switch 2 Play is a weekly Thursday event at 4:00 PM in the library, where people of all ages can relax and connect through popular games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario Kart World, Just Dance, Street Fighter VI, and more! All necessary equipment—including the console, controllers, and seating—is provided for a fun and easygoing gaming experience, though feel free to bring your own controllers if you prefer!

Join us for a free class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. You must complete an English placement assessment to join the class. Taking this class will not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.
