Love playing the Pokémon card game and discussing all things Pokémon with fellow fans? Join the Pokémon League every first and third Saturday, sponsored by the Magnolia City Pokémon Gym. Bring your favorite deck, play the card game with other fans, trade cards in a controlled environment, and talk all things strategy. This event is open to all ages and skill levels.
Join us for an event for plant owners to gather and swap plants. This could include whole plants or cuttings/clippings, as long as they are pest free, as well as seeds and supplies, that you're willing to part with.
Come prepared to trade your plants with other plant lovers and go home with a new (to you) plant. All ages, plants, and level of plant experience is welcome!
No monetary transactions may be completed within the library; this is strictly trading only.
Open to all, beginners and advanced crafters! Bring your project and enjoy a lovely morning and afternoon of conversation and inspiration as you quilt, knit, sew, bead...whatever brings you crafterly joy! This program is self-hosted.
Come and play American Mah-Jongg in "open play". No registration or supplies necessary, just come and have a laughing good time with us!
Participants bring their own lunch to enjoy (optional!) while watching genealogy how-to webinars presented by experts in the field, then discuss how to apply the knowledge gained in their own research. The topic of each session will be decided shortly prior to the start of the program, based on input from the participants.
Join us at STEM Lab as we explore various topics in science, technology, engineering, and math! Each month kids will learn about a specific STEM topic and then complete a related experiment or activity. Join us in October for Roller Coaster Science!
This program is for children ages 8-12. Registration is required and begins one week in advance.
