Paint pouring, also known as acrylic pour painting or acrylic flow painting, is a painting method created by pouring acrylic paint on a canvas to create a flowy design.
Registration will open on May 5th at 10AM. Registration and attendance for patrons ages 18+ only.

This workshop is a five-week program, designed to be a fun resource for parents & guardians to connect and play with their children, other families, and professionals from our community about early childhood topics . Professionals from Kingwood and beyond will join us to provide insight and resources to help inform and support young children.
Join us for our Tween Book Club! We will discuss the book of the month, have snacks, and enjoy book related activities. This month we will be reading "The Forgotten Five: Map of Flames" by Lisa McMann.
On Friday, April 17th, we will discuss the first half of the book (around page 192).
On Friday, May 1st, we will discuss the second half of the book.
This book club is intended for children ages 8-12. Online registration is required; space is limited.
Calling all teen artists! Whatever your medium is, you're invited to hang with other artists and work on your projects. Sketch pads, art pencils, markers, paints, yarn, crochet hooks, and more will be available for those who just want to show up and create. No registration is required. Snacks will also be provided.

We're having a Plant Swap at Kingwood Branch Library!
This is a free event. Selling of plants/cuttings/seedlings is prohibited.
To ensure there is enough space, please do not bring more than 15 plants/cuttings/or seedlings.
Bring unwanted plants, pots, seeds, or other gardening items to swap with other plant enthusiasts.
Guidelines:
Bring an indoor or outdoor plant in a pot you are willing to part with. Pots, seeds, and other plant care items are also great for swapping.
