Adults - please join us on Thursday, September 11 at 10:15 AM to learn all about Exploration Green, Clear Lake’s 200 acre neighborhood park. More than just flood prevention - discover some of the fun things you might see on a casual walk or jog, how to identify what you saw, why we rarely see mosquitoes, and ways you can help Exploration Green improve. Rich Sommer, Exploration Green Conservancy Board Vice Chair and Texas Master Naturalist, looks forward to presenting.
This program is recommended for babies aged 0-18 months, accompanied by a parent or caregiver. It includes age-appropriate stories, rhymes, bounces, and songs that lay the foundation for reading. Children will also develop sensory, fine motor, and social skills through playtime.
This orientation session will introduce participants to vinyl cutting, Cricut operation, heat pressing, sublimation printing and related software in the library. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use a vinyl cutter, Cricut machine, sublimation printer, or a heat press.
Let's get messy before the new flooring goes down! Use slime materials and foam beads to create a crunchy, foamy slime!
Recommended for school-age children ages 5-12. These programs are designed to engage children in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) activities and change on a monthly basis.
Tickets are required for all programs unless otherwise noted. They are free and available starting 30 minutes before the program begins at the Children’s Information Desk. Tickets are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
This program is recommended for children 18 months to 3 years old and their parents or caregivers. It features books, songs, fingerplays, music, and movement.

Join us in the second floor Innovation Lab Classroom to use a canvas, paint, and circles or varying sizes in order to create a super cute, super SIMPLE bubble painting!

Recommended for children 3 to 5 years old. This program is designed for children who are ready to sit and listen to stories in addition to enjoying songs, fingerplays, and action rhymes.
Adults deserve to play too! On the first Saturday of the month, join us all day in the second floor Conference Room for creativity and construction.
Any attendant under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
For 2025, the July Adult LEGO Saturday will be canceled due to the Fourth of July weekend.
