Adults – we welcome you to join us in the upstairs Innovation Lab Classroom on Thursday, March 19 at 10:15 AM to the Next Chapter’s presentation in the Lone Star Flight Museum Lecture Series. Ronnie Alford looks forward to presenting "Rosie the Riveter – An Iconic Symbol of Women's Wartime Contributions.” This free event requires no registration. 

Light refreshments will be provided by the Friends of Freeman Library.

Free tickets are required and are available starting 30 minutes before the program begins. Tickets are given out at the Kid's Information Desk.

Program designed for children 0-8 years old and their adults.

This story time includes stories, songs and activities. Please wear your pajamas and bring a favorite blanket or stuffed animal.

Surprise! Each child may choose one free book at the end of the program while supplies last.

This is our ongoing Dungeons & Dragons program where we host a seasoned Game Master to guide you through the mythical world of tabletop roleplaying!

This beginner friendly lesson will introduce participants to cross-stitching, which is a form of counted-thread embroidery using X-shaped stitches to create a pattern.

This program is limited to attendees age 5 and up. Children under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults must be able to help their children with the project.This program involves sharp embroidery needles and embroidery scissors.Registration is required due to limited supplies and seating.

New to journaling? Already love it and want to connect with others?

Join us for Freeman Scribblers, a relaxed, creative space where we’ll explore different journaling styles and techniques for all kinds of writers — from beginners to seasoned journalers.

Some materials will be provided.  Participants are encouraged to bring a blank or recurring journal and any favorite journaling supplies they’d like to use.
