With no assigned book or group discussion, Introvert Happy Hour Book Club is ideal for those who want the community of a book club without the homework, conversation, and social pressure. Please join us in the Upstairs Conference Room on the second Monday of the month to read silently as a group without any discussion and enjoy light refreshments provided by the Friends of Freeman Library. The door opens at 6:00 PM.

Calling all genealogists! We’ll be hosting an open lab for FamilySearch, a free, online resource for genealogy/family history research on Friday, February 20, starting at 4:15 PM. This free program requires no registration but space is limited.

Adults – we welcome you to join us in the upstairs Innovation Lab Classroom on Thursday, February 12 at 10:15 AM to the Next Chapter’s first presentation in the Lone Star Flight Museum Lecture Series. Brad Adams looks forward to presenting “Bessie Coleman: Our Country's First African American & Female Pilot.” This free event requires no registration. The Next Chapter will host its upcoming cooking event on Thursday, February 05 at 10:15 AM. Participants will see how to make a pasta dish - Chicken Alfredo. Ingredients and equipment will be provided by the Friends of Freeman Library.
