There will be a brief lesson for beginners at the beginning of the session. Each class go over the following:

Join us for our monthly clay workshop where we learn different techniques and explore a variety of clay crafts. This program is meant to create a structured learning environment for tweens to be creative while collaborating with others.
We will be making wands out of clay and wooden dowels.

Texture: We will be using coffee grounds to texturize and color clay.
This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services within the Harris County Public Library system. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the 3D printer.
This class is appropriate for ages 10 and up. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
We will meet in the Innovation Lab on the 2nd Floor.

Get Creative with Cricut! This orientation session will introduce participants to Cricut machine capabilities, operation, and use. Completion of this orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the Cricut at Harris County Public Library.
This Halloween, capture a tiny ghost and create a terrarium in a jar for it to haunt!
Ages 8-12
Hang out, talk about your favorite K-Pop groups, and make felt photocard holders and beaded keychains at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library on Thursday, August 27th at 4:30 PM. This party is meant for ages 8-18. K-Pop Demon Hunters fans are welcome, but this is a fandom party for lots of different K-Pop artists! Register to let us know you plan to attend and email sm@hcpl.net to let us know what your favorite groups are!
Join our Tween Book Club here at the Barbara Bush Branch Library! We will discuss a new book every month paired with a fun activity.
The book for October will be The Clackity by Lora Senf.
Popcorn is, of course, provided! You may bring you own snacks too.

Want to make your voice heard and help shape what happens at your library? The Stratford Branch Library is looking for motivated teens to join the Teen Advisory Committee (TAC)—a team of young leaders who help connect local youth with the library and the wider community.
**Must be in grades 6th-12th**
Do you like to paint? Would you like to try out painting?
We will be using 8.5x11 canvases. All materials provided. Freestyle painting is a great way to express yourself and have fun!
Programs are always free and made possible by our Friends of the Fairbanks Library. Teen programs are designed for middle schoolers and high schoolers.
