Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch Library for Summer fun and games!

This week, we'll play field day inspired games in the park. Get ready to toss a frisbee, run some relays, and join together in some cooperative games.

This program is free and will be hosted outdoors. These games are perfect for elementary school aged kiddos to tweens.

 Join us and make your very own DIY craft. We’ll have stations set up where you can create your own bookmark, keychain, or Canvas design.

This is a program for ages 12-17, 18 if in High School.

Learn Latin Club will introduce elementary Latin and Ancient Roman culture to middle school (4th--8th grade) students. Students will be using the Aequora textbook created by the Paideia Institute, a nonprofit organization for the Classics. Students will participate in activities such as drawing scenes from Greco-Roman mythology and drawing comics with Latin words. Over 60% of English words are Latin-based --- students can expect to gain a deeper understanding of English grammar and vocabulary through interaction with Latin in this program.

Come see Books Alive bring the children's book The Ballerina with Webbed Feet! from the page to the stage in a fully-staged original musical play that your family will love!

Books Alive adapts children's literature into fully-staged original 45 minute musicals, carefully honoring the author’s message, encouraging students to develop a healthy love of books, while often providing their first opportunity to see live theatre. Crafted and performed by a professional troupe, productions are bright, engaging, fun, and entertaining for all ages!

Starting May 1, stop by the Crosby Library to sign up for a weekly take-home mystery available this summer. Tweens and teens ages 9 and up are invited to take part in this thrilling case to uncover the Mystery of the Missing Bigfoot.

This detective-style whodunit includes six mystery packets to be solved over the course of the summer. Registration is required - please see the front desk for details and registration

Join us as the Friends of the Maud Marks Library hold their next used book sale. There is a large selection of hardback fiction and nonfiction, as well as children’s books and paperbacks. All items sell for rock bottom prices!

We will also be hosting a Friends Members-Only preview on Friday, July 24, from 4 PM - 5:30 PM.
