Additional Info: Start new projects or bring a current project to work on. You will have the opportunity to display your finished project in the library!

Starting May 1, stop by the Crosby Library to sign up for a weekly take-home mystery available this summer. Tweens and teens ages 9 and up are invited to take part in this thrilling case to uncover the Mystery of the Missing Bigfoot.

This detective-style whodunit includes six mystery packets to be solved over the course of the summer. Registration is required - please see the front desk for details and registration

Join the mobile education team from Harris County Precinct 3 to craft your very own walking stick! Learn about different tree species found along our Greenways and personalize your stick to take on your next hike. Ages 7 + welcome. We will use sharp tools; adults must supervise their children. 

Class size limited to 25, so be sure to sign up at the front desk! After signing up, be sure to check-in 10 minutes before the start of the program to ensure your spot. 

This program will be offered once again on July 21.

Community Health & Wellness Services provided by Harris County Public Health at the Fairbanks Branch Library.  Come visit the Mobile Dental Clinic for:
First visits include a dental screening.
Follow-up visits may include a dental cleaning or basic treatment.

Adults and Children are welcome

Walk-ins are Welcome

This service is available from 8 am -3 pm each Monday with a lunch from 12-1.

Join us at the Parker Williams Library Innovation Lab for our 3D Printer Orientation!

This orientation session will introduce participants to the 3D printing services we offer at the library. Those who complete the orientation will then be able to request supervised time to use a 3D printer at any HCPL branch that has one. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a 3D printer in the future.

This event is open to all ages. Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult guardian.
