What if the dinosaurs roamed in 8-bit style? Find out with this Perler bead activity! We will have dinosaur-themed patterns, or you can do your own thing; the only limit is your imagination (and the size of your pegboard)!

Do you like candles? Would you like to learn how to make your own candles?

We will be making mini candles. All materials will be provided. Take your own mini candle home!
Note: We will use beeswax pellets, peppermint essential oil or orange essential oil.

Programs are always free and made possible by our Friends of the Fairbanks Library. Teen programs are designed for middle schoolers and high schoolers.

We are so pleased and excited to be hosting The Amazing Boujee Baker: Ms. Laquana again this summer!

If you are looking for a fun and exciting activity for your tween or teen to do this summer, look no further!

She will be demonstrating and teaching tweens and teens in grades 6-12 how to decorate small cakes. Each tween/teen will take their decorated cake home!~~~~

Do you like graphic novels? Would you like to start reading and don't know where to start?

Join our Graphic Novel Tween Book Club at the Fairbanks Library. We are located at 7122 Gessner Rd, Houston, TX, 77040.

Pick up a graphic novel at the front desk! We will be reading Four Eyes by Rex Ogle, a funny and feel-good memoir of his sixth grade year. Read about Rex’s journey to fitting in, facing bullies, and suddenly finding out he needs to wear glasses!

Our first meeting will be on Monday, June 1.

Are you interested in starting a business and being your own boss?

During this class, we will go over business planning, goal setting, creating mission statements, and the basics of understanding branding. This section comes with role playing, real world examples and other activities to reinforce fundamental principles of business.

Ms. Candice Okin, the founder of Mason Makes Money Fund will be teaching this class!
