Family Playdate Workshop

The Family Workshop is a five-week program intended for children, aged 5 years and under, and their caregivers. Caregivers and children gather in a room with passive toys that encourage creative play and learning. The sessions will also include a local child expert who will provide information and answer questions and concerns of caregivers on topics related to early child development.

This program is specially geared for toddlers ages 18–35 months and their caregivers. No ticket required—just drop in and join the fun!

Children, ages 2 to 5, are invited to join us at the Maud Marks Library for Bilingual Storytime on Wednesday, April 8, at 11:15 AM. There will be songs, stories, and activities in Spanish and English for children and their families. 


Niños de edad 2 a 5 están invitados a participar en Hora de Cuentos en Bilingüe el miércoles, 8 de abril a las 11:15 AM. Habrá canciones, cuentos, y actividades en español e inglés para los niños y la familia.

Join us for a craft time for our youngest artists! This activity is intended for children ages 2 and up.

We want to have enough materials for everyone who wants to join in on the fun! Depending on weather and mess level, this program will either be outside the library or in the children's section upstairs.

Kids three and under and your grown ups! Join us for the Family Place Workshop from 10:30 am - 11:30 am every Monday from April 6th - May 4th.

This workshop is a five-week program, designed to be a fun resource for parents & guardians to connect and play with their children, other families, and professionals from our community about early childhood topics . Professionals from Kingwood and beyond will join us to provide insight and resources to help inform and support young children.
