Express yourself with the beauty of watercolors! In this beginner-friendly program, we'll learn techniques and skills to make beautiful art. Learn the basics of wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry painting, brush strokes, and color blending and theory. This program builds each week with new techniques, so regular attendance is encouraged. All supplies provided.

Learn how to book time with the Kingwood Library’s Cricut! This orientation session will introduce participants to using the Cricut in the library. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a Cricut at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a Cricut.

This event is open to those ages 13 and older. Teens ages 13-16 must be accompanied by an adult guardian. Registration is required.

The Zone program space will open for lo-fi hang out, study, and board games for a couple hours after school. Music and snacks may be provided.

Sign up for this exciting program hosted by the Environmental Community Advocates of Galena Park. From November 16th to 20th, students can join air monitoring experts to become clean air advocates. For high school and middle school students only. Meet in the computer lab for crafts, movies, & games.

Teen and adults, come for an hour of crafting. You can felt a piece of art as a gift for someone you’re grateful for.

Teens ages 13-18 can join us at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library once a month to earn an hour of volunteer credit by doing a project for a local community organization! Our next session is on Thursday, November 12th at 4:30 PM.
