The Friends of the Northwest Branch Library are holding their semi-annual book sale! A whole room of books for all ages, movies, music, and more! Most everything will be $1-$2 and 100% of the money earned at the sale go right back to the Northwest library to help fund our programs. So go crazy, give in to your inner book goblin! After all, it's not an addiction! It's giving back to your community!
Create something meaningful this season by designing a handmade card for your mom or someone special in your life. Drop in, get creative with fun supplies, and leave with a personalized keepsake they’ll love!
For teens in grades 6-12. All supplies will be provided.
Teens ages 13 and up are invited to join a three-week mini Dungeons & Dragons adventure set at a mysterious summer camp deep in the woods. Teens will work together to investigate strange sightings, track down legendary cryptids, and uncover what’s really lurking beyond the campfire’s glow!
No prior D&D experience is required—new and experienced players are welcome. Pre-made Character sheets and dice will be provided. Registration is limited so sign up now!

Calling all plant lovers! We're having a community plant swap at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library!
You're invited to join us to trade seeds, plant cuttings, propagations, and plants! Register to let us know you plan to attend.
This is a free event. Selling of plants/cuttings/seedlings is prohibited.
To ensure there is enough space, please do not bring more than 10 plants/cuttings/propagations or seedlings.
Bring unwanted plants, pots, seeds, or other gardening items to swap with other plant enthusiasts.

The Teen Advisory Board at South Houston Library is hosting a video game night! You do not have to be a part of the Teen Advisory Board to attend.
We will be playing the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Games include Street Fighter, Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart and more!
This program is intended for those 12-18 years old.
Calling all anime enthusiasts: test your knowledge and win prizes at Anime Trivia Night! Winners will earn a laser cut trophy and bragging rights. Snacks will be provided. This program is for teens ages 13-18.
Learn how to book time with the Kingwood Library’s Glowforge Laser Cutter! This orientation session will introduce participants to laser cutting and engraving services in the library. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a laser cutter at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a laser cutter. Registration is required.
Join us for a slumber party-themed party! We will be playing games, making friendship bracelets, and other fun activities. Snacks and supplies will be provided. Please note that this is NOT an overnight event.
NOTE: this is a young adult program and is aimed at ages 13 through 18. Content may not be appropriate for younger children. Children under age 13 may attend at their parent or guardian's discretion.
Help save lives and earn donor incentives by donating blood on Tuesday, June 23rd, any time between 2:30-5:30 PM at Katherine Tyra Branch Library. Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center will have their donor bus parked outside taking appointments and walk-ins.
