Join us for the Teen "Bring Your Own Book" Book Club, where you can share whatever you're reading and discover new favorites from fellow book lovers! This month's optional theme is winter holidays—bring a cozy read that fits the season or anything else you're excited about. Come for the books, stay for the fun discussions and snacks!

Bring the whole family for a fun LEGO challenge.

You'll get a challenge card to follow, and if you complete all the steps, you'll get entered into the Lego prize drawing.

All ages and skill levels are welcome.

Carlos from Parks & Rec will help teens carve their very own walking or hiking stick!

Join Teen Gaming! The program occurs every Tuesday after school from 4pm-5:15pm.

Calling all teen artists! Whatever your medium is, you're invited to hang with other artists and work on your projects. Sketch pads, art pencils, markers, paints, yarn, crochet hooks, and more will be available for those who just want to show up and create. No registration is required. Snacks will also be provided. 

This program is for teens ages 13-18.  

Learn how to book time with the Kingwood Library’s Mayku Vacuum Former. This orientation session will introduce participants to vacuum forming services in the library, and the basics on how to create your own uniquely-shaped plastic molds. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a vacuum former at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a vacuum former.

This event is open to those ages 13 and older. Registration is required.

Each month, participants are invited to sketch, plan scripts, make backdrops, record, and edit stop motion animation films! All equipment and snacks will be provided. This program is for teens ages 13-18.
