Join us at the Fairbanks Branch Library for a Free Financial Literacy Workshop: Making Your Money Work for You

This Free Financial Workshop will be held on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm in the Adult Programming Area in the Main Library of Fairbanks Branch Library. 

Newcomers always welcome! 

This program is being provided by Independent Agents of Primerica Financial Services.  This is an educational program only. 

 It will be available in English and Spanish. 

As part of our Pokémon Week celebrating National Pokémon Day, teens ages 12–17 (grades 6–12) are invited to create their own Pokémon-themed Perler bead keychains. Choose your favorite Pokémon, design your keychain, and hang out with other fans. All supplies provided.

Drop in and unwind at the library’s Gaming Café! Teens can play video and board games, hang out with friends, and enjoy a relaxed, café-style atmosphere. 🎮

Program is intended for ages 12-17 or grades 6th-12th.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day at the library with a fun party just for teens! Enjoy music, games, and crafts including decorating a small chocolate box you can keep for yourself or giveaway to your Valentine! 💗

Join our brand-new Teen Book Club and dive into great reads, fun discussions, and snacks! Each month we’ll pick a new book together and hang out to chat about favorite moments, characters, and ideas! There is no designated book yet! 📗✨

Celebrate Black History Month as teens learn about artist Alma Woodsey Thomas and create their own colorful paintings inspired by her bold, abstract style. All supplies provided.🎨

WHAT IS TAB?

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a volunteer group engaged in library programming. Our mission is to empower teens through the creation, promotion and implementation of events at the High Meadows Branch Library.

Participation in TAB counts as service hours for any honor, scholar, or religious organization. Meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month.
