What we offer:
Learn how to book time with the Kingwood Library’s Cricut! This orientation session will introduce participants to using the Cricut in the library. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a Cricut at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a Cricut.
This event is open to those ages 13 and older. Teens ages 13-16 must be accompanied by an adult guardian. Registration is required.
In this program, teens are invited to BYOB (build your own buttons, of course)! Draw or create a graphic design via Canva and press buttons with KW library's button maker. All materials and snacks will be provided.
This program is for teens ages 13-18.
Kingwood Branch Library is partnering with Harris County Pets to help you find your next furever friend! We're hosting a mobile adoption event in the Kingwood Library's parking lot, where you can adopt a pet for a fee of $20. This is a cash only event.
The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is an opportunity for teenagers to voice their ideas and opinions regarding library programs. Participation can be used for community service hours.
You don't need a library card to participate in this meeting. You also do not need to register, just show up!
