Each month you and your fellow club members get to vote on a brand-new theme, so the fun never looks the same twice, one month it might be a cozy fantasy, the next could be retro video games. Book Buddies is a free program that brings children and teen volunteers together to share the joy of reading. It pairs trained volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in Kindergarten through 3rd grades (Little Buddies). For 10 weeks, the Buddies meet once a week in the afternoon for 45 minutes of one-on-one shared reading.
The Fall cycle of Book Buddies will run from September 17th to November 19th. Reading sessions will be in the library meeting room.

If your student is struggling with math or has a simple question, come see Ms. Patricia for some one-on-one help! Each student should bring a homework or school work that they need help with. This program is for students in 4th to 12th grade. Registration is online, but walk-ins may be accepted.

Get Creative with Cricut! This orientation session will introduce participants to Cricut machine capabilities, operation, and use. Completion of this orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the Cricut at Harris County Public Library.
- This class is appropriate for ages 8 and up.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult during orientation and appointments.
We will meet in the Meeting Room on the 1st Floor.
The Zone program space will open for lo-fi hang out, study, and board games for a couple hours after school. Music and snacks may be provided.
