Learn how to book time with the Kingwood Library’s Mayku Vacuum Former. This orientation session will introduce participants to vacuum forming services in the library, and the basics on how to create your own uniquely-shaped plastic molds. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a vacuum former at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a vacuum former.
Learn how to book time with the Kingwood Library’s Cricut! This orientation session will introduce participants to using the Cricut in the library. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a Cricut at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a Cricut.
This event is open to those ages 13 and older. Teens ages 13-16 must be accompanied by an adult guardian. Registration is required.

This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing in the library. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use a 3D printer.
Come learn to sew and how to book time with the Kingwood Library’s Singer Sewing Machine! This orientation session will introduce participants to using a sewing machine. Those who complete the class will not only walk away with a sewn book sleeve, they'll also be able to request time to use a machine at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a sewing machine.
