Calling all homeschooled kids! Through hands-on activities, experiments, and interactive lessons, children will discover, learn, and explore.

Switch 2 Play is a weekly Thursday event at 4:00 PM in the library, where people of all ages can relax and connect through popular games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario Kart World, Just Dance, Street Fighter VI, and more! All necessary equipment—including the console, controllers, and seating—is provided for a fun and easygoing gaming experience, though feel free to bring your own controllers if you prefer!

Join us for our 3D Printer Orientation!

This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services in the library. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a 3D printer at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a 3D printer.

Join us for the Monthly Make and Mingle- A hands-on program where creativity meets technology! Each month, adults and teens are invited to explore a new craft or DIY project using in-house maker equipment—including the Cricut, laser cutter, and 3D printers—alongside traditional crafting supplies. 

The craft for February will be Hand Decorated Button & Charm Photo Frames.

The camp runs February 9-13th from 11am-2pm.  Registration is for the entire week.  Please make sure your child is available to attend Monday-Friday.

Step into the Literacy League, where stories come to life! Our Chapter Champions (teens) are ready to guide your Story Seekers (children; grades K-3rd) through the wonders of the written word in stories, information, and books. 

The Literacy League is a 6-week-commitment literacy program to provide teen mentorship and guidance to K-3rd graders pursuant to establishing and promoting a culture of literacy and books.
