Do you consider yourself an expert on Taylor Swift? Do you know obscure trivia and feel confident you have what it takes?

Come to the library and solve an escape room about Taylor Swift, slightly spooky because it's our favorite time of the year: Halloween! Solve puzzles, decipher clues, and race against the ticking clock. 

All materials provided. This program is designed for grades 6th-12th only.

We will be making slime popcorn as a gooey edible Halloween craft. We will be using candy eyeballs, brown sugar, butter, marshmallows, and food coloring to make gooey but delicious slime-y popcorn.

Join us for our 3D Printer Orientation!

This orientation session will instruct participants on using the 3D printer in the library . Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a 3D printer at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a 3D printer. Attendees will receive the 3D printer and Dremel 3D45 badges in Beanstack upon completion of orientation.

Come Join us for The Cricut Explore Air 2 Orientation!

This orientation session will introduce the participants the Cricut Explore Air 2 in the library. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the Cricut.

This class is appropriate for patrons 16 and older.

Registration is required.

This orientation session is intended for teen volunteers and a completed, intact, and ready application packet is required to be admitted to the orientation.  To apply to be a teen volunteer at the HCPL-West University Branch Library, applicants must: complete a printed copy of the application packet, ( LINK TO APPLICATION PACKET HERE )be between the ages of 15-18, have their guardian’s permission, attend one orientation session.
