Calling all genealogists! We’ll be hosting an open lab for FamilySearch, a free, online resource for genealogy/family history research on Friday, November 06 at 4:15 PM in our upstairs Computer Lab.
In this reading class, we'll each take turns reading parts of an article before answering questions in turn.
Mobile users, you will need to download Microsoft Teams to join.
Cameras not required, but audio and microphone are if you want to practice reading and conversing out loud.
Master the specific word processing tools featured in Word. Participants will create tables, convert text to tables and tables to text, explore line and paragraph spacing,
explore the Tables and Borders tab, inset pictures shapes, charts, text boxes and hyperlinks, convert PDF files into Word documents and lots more. Participants will complete a take-home project using the skills learned during the class and will need to bring their own USB/thumb drive..
Please bring a USB to class if you would like to save your work.

Watercolor for “Young at heART” adults meets every Tuesday morning to enjoy watercolor painting while commiserating with fellow artists! This friendly and social group is open to all adults and to all levels of art experience, including those who have never painted with watercolor at all. Sometimes the group works on individual projects and sometimes there is an art education period. Sometimes you will learn something new and sometimes you can teach something to others.
