Do you love to read but don’t have the time to do it? Do you have a pile of books on the nightstand needing to be read? Do you want a quiet space away from all of the noise? Then this program is for you! Join us for some quiet reading time while you sip or munch on refreshments provided by the library.

Have you ever wanted to join a book club but they never pick the books you want to read? Have you thought, man, I just really don't want to talk to people but the camaraderie of being in a book club sounds great? Then look no further! Join us for chill vibes, non-messy snacks, and a whole uninterrupted hour of reading! There will be some light background noise of waves or other soothing sounds, and lower lighting (but not too light, we don't want to hurt our eyes!), and the rest is up to you.

Must be 18 years or older to participate. No registration required.

This class will introduce participants to Microsoft Word, Microsoft’s word processing program. You will learn how to open and create a new document, type text into it, and basic formatting. This class builds upon the introductory computer class, so basic familiarity with computers (turning on computer, using the mouse, basic typing) is required. We will be using library computers, so no need to bring your own!
